Welcome to page two of the sunset pages

But as the sun sank a little more of the colors came back.
On January 1, 2002 I took a ride down to Pemberton to check out the new windmill. It is something to see.

As I was sitting there the sun began to set. Lucky me.

This 1st shot was taken around 4:15 facing Peddocks Island.

Used the Sony Digital again.
I took this one a few minutes later from the Dust Bowl.
By the time I got to the Salt Water Club the colors were starting to get nice.
But when I got to U Street it looked like things were going to fizzle out.

Facing Hog Island. End of U Street next to what once was my Grandfathers pier at Miller's Boat Yard.
A couple more shots here before moving on.
The flag shot below was taken at P street
(I think, maybe Q)

I finished this session of shots at the end of
J Street.

This sunset lasted a long time. I enjoyed every minute of it.

I took this one on Jan. 17, 2002 from the parking lot of State Street Corp in North Quincy, MA.  The Palmer Building is on the right and Presidents Golf Course is in the background.

I used the Sony Digital and shot through my purple sunglasses lens.
